Benefits Support Manage


The Suport Manager will work beside company president providing high-level support including communicating and negotiating with vendors, analyzing documents and preparing reports. The position requires problem-solving and communications skills, a practical understanding of technology, a strong grasp of grammar, highly organized with excellent time management skills. To be successful, you will need to be self-motivated, a self-starter, have a sense of urgency and be a continuous learner.

  Daily Activities


 


  • Compile data, preparation for account meetings, renewals, and new clients
  • Create computer spreadsheets and databases, using Excel and specialized industry software. Use Excel to enter, manipulate, and format text and numerical data; insert, delete, and manipulate cells, rows, and columns; create and save worksheets, charts, and graphs.
  • Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes
  • Support marketing campaigns
  • Prepare documentation for contracts including master group applications and employee enrolment software (Employee Navigator*)
  • Reconcile, note, report and correct discrepancies found in records
  • Maintain office equipment including copy machine, phone system and computer network
  • Perform general office duties, such as scanning, answering telephones, and handling routine office tasks including working on projects determined by corporate priorities

 


  System Skills and Management


  • Understand industry specific systems, how to maximize their use and how changes in the industry can be captured using software
  • Research and recommend software to meet the needs of the agency
  • Maintain equipment, facilities, and materials
