Property and Casualty/Life and Health Insurance Producer


Client is a growing company located in Rome, GA.


 


Insurance Producer preferred experience is within the following areas:

Personal


Life/Health


Med Supplement, LTC, Worksite Benefits and Disability


Prior experience is essential in this role either having or generating new business. A plus is to have contract for producing business.


Requirements:


  • Strong Customer Relationships
  • Desire to develop a long-term career, with your prior book, or as you develop for Client.
  • Ability to complete tasks without supervision
  • Motivated to find tasks that need to be completed
  • Ability to self-generate leads using sales techniques while also using various company provided lead sources including but not limited to lead list
  • Current Georgia Property and Casualty Insurance License
  • Current Georgia Life/Health Insurance License is a plus; ability to obtain one is a must
  • Willingness to learn and be a part of the team
  • Monthly production requirements must be met with a 30/60/90-day review.

Duties of an Insurance Producer include: 


  • Actively producing new business in Property and Casualty and/or Life/Health business for both Personal and Commercial lines
  • Market all lines to directly impact revenue goals through the acquisition of new business and the retention of renewals.

  • Self-management
  • Daily work, lead list, existing book at Client
  • Consistently network to create new leads
  • Practice follow up with current clients
  • Work with account managers to prepare proposals and present to prospects
  • Develop and maintain active expiration list through internal and external sources
  • New leads obtained by telephone calls and marketing visits
  • Make prospecting calls to identify business needs and propose company products and services
  • Plan with the clients to ensure premium payment in a timely basis and be responsible for collection.
  • Effectively build relationships with insurance company underwriters through a pattern of professional risk submissions, company visitations, and negotiations.

 


Employment Offer is contingent upon:  


Ability to pass a background check, 


  • Georgia P&C license.
  • Proven experience producing insurance lines
  •  Monthly production requirements must be met with a 30/60/90-day review.

Job Type: Full-time


Compensation:  


Salary Draw set at $24,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year with production experience paid on a weekly basis.


Draw does not have to be repaid during initial 90 days of employment if production quota is not met; If quota is exceeded, any commissions over draw amount will be split according to the schedule below.


After the 90-day review and sufficient production quotas have been met, pay will consist of advancing set pay on a weekly basis with advances repaid on monthly basis when commission reports are generated; Continued quota production is required to continue pay advances.


Commission:


New business commission paid at 50% of the paid carrier commission as earned and paid Renewal commission paid at 25% of the paid carrier commission as earned and paid


These percentages may be increased by employer in the future at its discretion.

  • 401(k) – available after 1 year of employment and at least 1000 hours.
  • 401(k) matching – available after 1 year of employment and at least 1000 hours; 3% of all pay is paid by the company to the 401k regardless of whether employee contributes or not.
  • Company paid 25,000 Whole Life insurance: additional coverage available to employee cost.
  • Paid time off – 1 week earned during first year of employment after 90 probation period; 2 weeks earned after 2 years of employment.
  • Retirement plan – After 5 years of employment, company will establish a retirement, death, or disability contract with employee based upon employee’s renewal book of business.
  • Additional Whole Life coverage to the company paid $25,000.00 policy
  • Additional Accident, Cancer, Critical Illness polices
  • Additional policies include spouse/dependents with a guaranteed issue

Work Schedule:


  • 8-hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental Pay:


  • Company bonuses paid at company discretion
